The founders of the Effusion Group are all dedicated to open standards and open source to varying degrees and have come together for that reason. The founding members are still responsible for the overall direction of Effusion Group but having set the infrastructure in place have started to let the growing community organise itself.

Reurbanise is a sustainable business consultancy and urban sustainability advocate currently focussed on web application development and consulting using mostly Open Source tools and technologies (because it's more sustainable that way).

Egressive Limited

Egressive focuses on three things:

1. building and supporting business computing solutions with Linux and open source desktop software (in conjunction with non-open source legacy applications),
2. designing, building, supporting, and providing training for web applications on open source platforms, specialising in Drupal,
3. providing boutique hosting for Drupal web applications on a fully open source hosting infrastructure, built on Ubuntu Linux.

IOPEN Technologies Limited

IOPEN exists to improve your profitability, by developing software packages, supplying computer systems, performing systems integration, and providing ongoing support.

ZYPE Limited

ZYPE is a design company that specialises in the interaction between people and computers and creating interfaces that soften the blow and provide an environment where the user's goals and requirements take precedence over the computer's.
